10.10 launch of Volume 25 of the Swansea History Journal / Minerva – it is available throughout the day - for a taste of what's inside click here.

10:30 Mark Lodwick, "Recent finds from Swansea & the surrounding area". Mark is Finds Coordinator for the Portable Antiquities Scheme in Wales based at Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales.

11.30 Helen Hallesy, “Swansea Commemorative Pottery: Politics, Royalty, Reform, Wars”  Helen, a long term Council member of the R.I.S.W. and advisor to Swansea Museum on ceramics, has published books on Ynysmeudwy Pottery, the Glamorgan Pottery, and a collector's exhibition book of the Swansea Potteries. Her talk introduces her brand new book on this theme, which will be available for the first time. Come & get a copy !

2.00 Teresa Hillier, “Legacy of Longfields - a project which examines a pioneering disability charity for children with cerebral palsy, established in 1952”   Teresa is the project manager and also a PhD student in disability history at Swansea University.

2.40 Ian Smith, “Community Museums”  Ian is Modern & Contemporary Curator at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea and will talk about his programme of engagement with local groups.

3.30 Gerald Gabb, “Swansea & the Sea”  a former museum education officer, Gerald has researched and published Swansea history
